Me

Having started out at age 9, clandestinely reading John Grisham in the semi-darkness of a walk-in closet, I graduated to reading in the harsh light of university classrooms, and finally to reading in various different comspolitan cities for work. After getting my BA degree in English Literature from UCL, I interned in several literary agencies, among them The Wylie Agency in London, and Laura Dail Literary, Nancy Yost and Upstart Crow Literary in New York City.
These days, I am still lucky enough to be reading and getting paid for it - a double chunk of good fortune considering I live in a country where English is not the national language. At Israeli publishing house Kinneret Zmora-Bitan Dvir, I work in marketing translated fiction and in foreign rights. This forces me to spend most of my time reading on my kindle(s) or cutting my fingertips on the edges of printed-off, unedited manuscripts. Happy happy days. In my spare time, I watch movies and obsess over their scores. To me, Hans Zimmer and John Williams are heroes as much as Margaret Atwood and Terry Pratchett.
